The report from the MyLifeMyID study is now available from the IPS website.
The report is very full and I would encourage people who are interested in it to read the full report and not to rely on summaries or third-party reports. I am no longer at Virtual Surveys, so professional etiquette requires that I do not get involved with the project, but as the key author of the report I remain of the opinion that it represents the views and opinions expressed by the members in the discussions and surveys conducted.
Hey Ray, it might have been an online laughing stock, the worst attempt at a public consultation in the history of spin and a waste of seventy grand but I for one raise my hat to you. Managing to tell the government what it wanted to hear based on what your respondents said was a stupendous effort. Here's how the IPS saw your report: "The discussion forum was dominated by anti NIS lobbyists but despite the negative comments they failed to shift opinion in those who supported the NIS and most members held the same view of the NIS throughout the life of the community". Worthy of North Korea!
