Over the past couple of years there has been a growing amount of interest in storytelling and narrative, in the context of business presentations. However, most of the information about storytelling seems to concentrate on why to use storytelling with occasional examples of the success of using storytelling, there is much less on how to actaully set about using storytelling in business presentations.
In real-life business situations, storytelling has more to do with narrative flow then an Agatha Christie plot, more to do with a comedian’s story than Proust, and more popular newspaper than journal.
As an aid to researchers looking to use storytelling I have organised a half-day workshop on the morning of 6th July in London. If you are interested in finding out more about the workshop or in registering you can find out more about it on the NewMR.org website.
