To accompany the book there is going to be a website, to expand on the material in the book and to attempt to keep it up-to-date in what is surely the fastest changing aspect of market research. Since the book is being launched on August 13th, the website needs to be ready for then, which is just six weeks away, so I need to get a move on.
The basic idea for the book’s website has been created at http://hosmr.com/ (we decided that Handobok_of_Online_and_Social_Media_Research.com was a tad too long, so we have gone for the initials, and will have to depend on advertising, word of mouth, and Google to help people find the website. Even the initials are a tad out of date since the book’s formal name is “The Handbook of Online and Social Media Research”, but we have become attached to HOSMR as an abbreviation.
